How to Sell Ivanka Trump’s Fashion Outlets

By Steve KrakauerThe retail giant is looking to sell Ivanka Trump fashion outlets to help pay for her daughter’s pricey clothing line.
The president and first daughter, whose clothing line is a $10 billion juggernaut, has been trying to sell off retail outlets in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and other cities, with the aim of creating a new shopping destination in the countrys capital.
The New York City-based company is also in talks to buy stores in other cities.
Ivanka Trump said she was considering buying stores in more than 30 states, but that was still “on the table.”
The president has repeatedly pushed to sell more Ivanka Trump-branded stores, and it has come up several times in the last week, including with Vice President Mike Pence at a White House event.
The president was in California for a fundraiser for the state’s Republican Party, where Ivanka Trump and her daughter Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka’s husband, President Donald Trump Jr., were all on the table.
Ivanka Trump is now on the record with her daughter-in.
Trump’s daughter, who is married to Jared Kushner, said the president was supportive of her decision to sell her business, The New Yorker reported.
“Ivanka has always said she wants to sell the Ivanka Trump brand and the brand will always be Ivanka Trump,” Ivanka Trump told the magazine.
“The brand is going to be a huge asset and it will allow her to be able to focus on other things.”
The New Republic has reported that Ivanka Trump has spent $3.5 million of her own money on her clothing line since the start of 2017, but the bulk of that has gone to the Trump Organization and her husband.
Ivanka is not on the Trump family business, however.
