Ivanka Trump is a ‘high-end’ beauty brand, but it’s not as glamorous as some of the other brands

Ivanka Trump has been accused of being a high-end beauty brand.
But the beauty giant is not as glamourous as some brands, according to an article in The Hollywood Reporter.
“Ivanka Trump has never been in a position to be a high end beauty brand,” the article states.
“It seems like a great leap to make a brand that is synonymous with being a brand of high-priced prestige, high-fashion, highbrow fashion.
In reality, Ivanka Trump’s brand is not a high value brand and is more geared towards the millennial demographic, a demographic who are more likely to purchase high-price prestige products.
Ivanka Trump sells for $4,000 to $5,000.”
The article goes on to say that “Ivankas brand is best described as high-quality, low-end, or the ‘low end’ of high end luxury, and is marketed to millennials.”
“Ivanka’s high-level products are sold in stores like Nordstrom, Sephora, and Sephort, while her low-level and ‘discounted’ products are only available at Target, Macy’s, and Best Buy.”
It also states that the “Ivakas brand has seen a rapid decline in sales and profits since the company launched in 2011.”
“It seems as if Ivanka Trump simply doesn’t have the luxury or the glamour of other luxury brands to sell at such a premium,” the report states.
“But while Ivanka Trumps brand is often seen as the ‘high end,’ she’s not the only one.”
The story is part of the “Beauty” category at The Hollywood Rejects.
