One of my favorite accessories to date has always been a scarf. No matter the season, I feel like a scarf can add a subtle amount of detail to any outfit. In college, I was known as the scarf girl…but really ha! I probably had over 20 different scarves at a time, and would wear one like everyday. Borderline obsession, I know. These days, you won’t see me wearing a scarf everyday, but I still have quite a few in my closet!
Today I am teaming up with my One Nation Under Chic girls, to show you how to style this spring scarf nine different ways! We all have unique styles, and with spring being such a versatile season, seeing how we styled the scarf in our own way gives you so much inspiration on how to get the most out of an accessory that is under $20! Plus, we are giving one scarf away, head to my Instagram at 3pm EST time to see how to enter!
I chose to style this scarf as a bow. The multiple colors in the scarf compliment each other so well, that I kept the rest of my outfit pretty neutral. I love the way the bow sits just above my t-shirt line, and pairs perfectly with the style of my trench coat. The trench I am wearing is from last season, but linking a similar one here.
This look is perfect for the spring weather upon us, and I cannot wait to wear it again during a weekend with my girlfriends coming up! How is everyone’s March so far? I am working endlessly to create Sparkle Studio product to be added to my shop & to sell at SoWa come May! We just added mugs to the shop last night, check them out here!
I’m a girl who loves her classics. Give me a pair of black skinnies, white top, and neutral accessories and I will be more than thrilled to wear such combination. It could be my love for simplicity, but I just love how neutrals blend sooo well together! I found this top a few weeks back, and pretty much fell head over heels for it! The detailing is so dainty and bring so much life to what would be an ordinary outfit otherwise.
I decided to invest in a camel coat this winter because I was simply tired of wearing a black puffy coat every day, and needed a piece of clothing to give me hope for more color in my wardrobe in these winter days! This coat is at such a great price point, and I know I will be wearing it come fall and winter next year. It’s also so perfect for the cold spring days we still have upon us!
I’ve fallen in love with mules– they are the comfiest shoe I have worn to this date (basically slippers!). Again, I love the simplicity of them, and how they can pretty much match any outfit.
How has everyone’s week been? I have been nonstop working, but so thankful it’s almost Friday! Cheers to the weekend loves!
Happy Monday friends! So, it’s been a while since I last posted on my blog, but all for a good reason! As you may know, towards the end of last year I created Sparkle Studio, a stationery and design shop. Creating a form of inspiration to bring into other people’s lives (besides through my blog) has been a dream of mine since I started this blog. So since November, I have been working steadily at creating prints + product to inspire and bring joy to others. Sparkle Studio is based of foil design, and I personally hand make each item.
In order to take the studio to the next level, I decided to put a little more time the past couple months into creating items for the shop. I never intend to leave the blog, it means too much to me to connect and share moments with you all, but these days I sort of have to pick and choose wisely on where I put my time. With focusing on the studio, I can proudly say that I have been accepted into SoWa, Boston’s open market for art. Starting in May, I will be selling my prints and stationery each weekend at SoWa. This is a huge accomplishment for me, and the next step in taking my business where I want it to go!
So now that you know I have been a busy bee behind the scenes, I wanted to let you know that I will still be updating the blog weekly and will continue to share style and lifestyle posts with you! This off the shoulder bow top has me thinking spring (who isn’t?!), and I cannot wait to wear it regularly when the temps are warmer. It actually hit 50 yesterday, and naturally I wanted to wear all the off the shoulder tops. The pretty bow detail on the back of this top is so subtle, yet it makes the top! I will always love a bow detail. Actually the first date Najib and I went on, I wore a white top with a similar bow backing and I still have it to this day. I truly don’t think I can have too many bow tops!
I love the way this color pink pairs with white, so I added my favorite handbag for spring, this Zac Posen Clutch. How cute are the pearl and flower details?! It can be worn as a cross body too, but the size of the handbag is perfect to be used as either. The heels I am wearing here are under $50, and the perfect blush/nude suede.
Thank you all for taking the time to stop by and catch up!
Happy Monday loves! How was everyone’s weekend? I spent the majority of the weekend cleaning and preparing my closet for fall! It’s sad to put all my summer clothes away, but I am very excited for fall weather and activities. Flannels, scarves, and cozy sweater dresses are already on my mind along with trips to see the fall foliage.
On Saturday, my mom and I headed to our local apple orchards, Smolak Farms. We went early in the morning to get fresh apple cider donuts and hot chocolate. The weather was still quite warm and perfect for sitting outside to enjoy our treats.
Speaking of warm weather, this dress is perfect for the summer/fall transition. The cowl neck sweater ties in the cozy, fall look I crave, but still allows me to not sweat all day in this Indian Summer weather lol.
The dress comes in another color, but I loved pairing this mustard color with black accessories. I never was one that was fond of black accessories, but this season I am just being drawn to them! They honestly can be worn with anything, in any season.
I hope you all have a great start to your week! Najib’s dealership will be having it’s grand opening this week (yay!!) and we will be busy planning/getting the place put together! This has been a project him and his family has been working since we started dating (three years now), so it’s so exciting to finally see it all come together.
