How to Style a Spring Scarf

COAT: Nordstrom (last season, similar here) // TOP: J.Crew // JEANS: AG // HEELS: Sam Edelman // HANDBAG: Zac Posen // SCARF: H&M

One of my favorite accessories to date has always been a scarf. No matter the season, I feel like a scarf can add a subtle amount of detail to any outfit. In college, I was known as the scarf girl…but really ha! I probably had over 20 different scarves at a time, and would wear one like everyday. Borderline obsession, I know. These days, you won’t see me wearing a scarf everyday, but I still have quite a few in my closet!

Today I am teaming up with my One Nation Under Chic girls, to show you how to style this spring scarf nine different ways! We all have unique styles, and with spring being such a versatile season, seeing how we styled the scarf in our own way gives you so much inspiration on how to get the most out of an accessory that is under $20! Plus, we are giving one scarf away, head to my Instagram at 3pm EST time to see how to enter!

I chose to style this scarf as a bow. The multiple colors in the scarf compliment each other so well, that I kept the rest of my outfit pretty neutral. I love the way the bow sits just above my t-shirt line, and pairs perfectly with the style of my trench coat. The trench I am wearing is from last season, but linking a similar one here.

This look is perfect for the spring weather upon us, and I cannot wait to wear it again during a weekend with my girlfriends coming up! How is everyone’s March so far? I am working endlessly to create Sparkle Studio product to be added to my shop & to sell at SoWa come May! We just added mugs to the shop last night, check them out here!

Valentine’s Day Outfit

SWEATER: J.Crew (sold out, similar here and here) // SKIRT: Express // BOOTS: Sam Edelman (similar here) // HANDBAG: Kate Spade // LIPSTICK: Chanel “Mademoiselle”

Hello hello there! I hope everyone has had a great week! Mine has been filled with to-do lists, but I am thankful to be chipping away at them!

Today I am sharing a some-what casual Valentine’s Day outfit. I love the pleats in this skirt, I feel that they bring out the burgundy color even more so, and add a fancy/frill accent to the outfit! Since the skirt is so fun, I paired a more neutral sweater with it. I picked up this turtleneck sweater before Christmas, so sadly it has since sold out, but I linked similar ones here and here. The turtleneck leaves a cozy element, so perfect for the snowy Valentine’s Day we tend to get each year in Boston!

Come February, my accessories are tried and true, so I whipped out my current favorites. These over-the-knee boots will always be a go-to, and I love the way they pair with skirts! They come up about my knee enough to make the look more causal yet elegant at the same time…if that makes sense haha. I’ve had this Kate Spade handbag for a while, and so glad to see that similar styles are still available!

What is everyone’s plan for Valentine’s Day? Najib and I like to keep it low-key, and may just head to a local restaurant around town or stay in and cook a meal together- yes he helps to cook sometimes! 😉

I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday!

Floral Frill Dress

DRESS: Nordstrom // DENIM JACKET: J.Crew // HANDBAG: Kate Spade // SANDALS: Sam Edelman // SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban // EARRINGS: Tory Burch // LIPSTICK: Anastasia “Dainty”

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday!!

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite summer dresses that I recently wore while in Denver. I’m a girl who loves her florals, and this dress just had me at “hello” with it’s color combos and babydoll/frill style. This actually just might be my go-to summer outfit. Most days after work, I want to slip into something easy and comfy, and this outfit fits the bill! I tend to only buy a couple pairs of sandals each summer (they don’t last me more than a season!), so these Sam Edelman sandals have been on repeat all season, sorrrrrry!

I borrowed my mom’s Kate Spade handbag from a couple of season’s ago, and love it against the floral detailing of this dress. I tend to stay away from white accessories due to their tendency to get dirty quickly, but this handbag still looks brand new- I linked a similar one above!

Now let me talk a little about our time in Denver. I had to fly out for a convention for my work, but spent a couple of days after the show to explore the beautiful city! I found the city to be so charming – behind me in the pictures was one of the cutest streets in Denver – Larimer Square. Decorated with string lights up and down the street, you will find boutiques, restaurants and bakeries along the perfectly paved road. My mom and I stopped into Tamayo, a Mexican restaurant at the end of Larimer Square. It was the best Mexican food I had ever had! We both enjoyed Chicken Tacos and started our meal off with Guacamole- a given!!

I will be doing more of a review of our time in Denver in the next week or so!

I hope you all have a beautiful day, thank you so much for stopping by!

Seaside White

DRESS: Chicwish // SANDALS: Sam Edelman // SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban // EARRINGS: Tory Burch

These pictures were taken during our stay a couple weeks ago in Bar Harbor! I am already missing the island and all it’s beauty. These pictures in particular were taken on a pier that overlooked the ocean and all the mountains surrounding Bar Harbor. The view was truly breathtaking and one I will never forget.

Though there isn’t much of a beach where we were staying, I still felt the need to dress beachy casual- especially since it was so hot (hence the top knot)! This Chicwish off the shoulder maxi dress was one of my favorite go-to’s during our trip, and it was perfect for a day of sightseeing, relaxing in the park, and enjoying seafood by the ocean with my family. The crochet detailing on the dress gives a beautiful, feminine look to the dress that I love.

I am heading back to the beach today! Some of my college girlfriends and I are visiting our friend Alexa at her family’s beach house in Orleans (Cape Cod). I am so excited for a few days of relaxing by the beach and catching up with good friends. Summer is going by too quickly and I just want to enjoy every last bit of it! What are some of your plans for the rest of the summer? I hope you all are beach bound!

Have a wonderful day!

Red Bow Dress

DRESS: Soprano (so sorry, but sold out!!!! other lovely red dresses here) // HEELS: Sam Edelman (similar)

This dress sold out too quickly before I could post on here, but I had to put it up because it is the perfect holiday dress! I am never the type to be drawn to wear red, but lately it’s like I can’t get enough of red! Must be the holidays rubbing off on me…

Though the dress is not in stock (cross your fingers it will come back!), I have linked other beautiful red dresses that would be great for any holiday soiree. Add a pair of leopard heels, and you have one great outfit to make a statement in.

I hope you all are having an amazing week, and prepping for the holidays!
