Though I will forever love Boston’s cobblestone streets, they aren’t so fun to walk in! There have been countless times where I pack an extra pair of flats to exchange for my heels, especially when it has been a long day and this gal does not feel like walking..I am mean wobbling! When it comes to finding that perfect fit within a shoe, I look for a couple of things. Comfort is above all else. Being a dancer until I went to college, God blessed me with the aftermath of wide feet- so jealous of all my size 6 friends. Such a feature leaves it sometimes near to impossible to find a shoe I love style and comfort wise.

You’ll probably guess that style is a close second when it comes to my choice in shoes. Accessories have always been my favorite pieces of clothing to pick out, and shoes can be such a fun element to add to any style. I love keeping my shoes to neutrals, that’s why I fell in love with these Rockport Sling Boots! The leather khaki is perfect for transitioning into warmer temps, especially with the peep-toe. The sling-back and wedge style leaves no room for wobbling on those cobblestone streets, and the lining is created with foam- making these shoes super comfortable!

I paired my boots with my new favorite pair of jeans. The raw edge is a fun trend I have been seeing a lot these days and I have to say I am loving it! This top is so great for spring. The neckline gives a different look to all the off the shoulder tops I have been wearing lately. Also, mint is one of my favorite colors to play with during spring- it matches perfectly with my boots!

Things have been non-stop around here these days! I’ve been creating non-stop for SoWa, and I cannot wait to share with you all/meet you all in person when I start selling my Sparkle Studio designs every weekend between May-October. I hope you all have an amazing rest of the week!

My Favorite Pair of Boyfriend Jeans

CARDIGAN: ASOS // TOP: Nordstrom// JEANS: Nordstrom // BOOTIES: Nordstrom // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // LIPSTICK: Chanel “Mademoiselle”

Hi friends! I am itching for spring this week. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a new month, and we are one month closer to warmer temps? I don’t know about you, but I have slowly started to boycott my go-to boots, and just want to put on shoes/clothing that are not as stuffy!

This outfit will definitely be on transition until warmer temps arrive. The color of the duster is so cheery and perfect for spring. The style of the sweater is warm enough to wear throughout winter, but can easily be paired with lighter layers come spring. That’s wear these boyfriend jeans come in! I LOVE these jeans.   So I tend to have a love hate relationship with boyfriend jeans. When it comes to picking out a style, a want a pair that are tight enough to look like regular jeans, but loose enough for a casual style. Does that make sense? Haha.

Anyways, these jeans fit like a glove, and are so comfortable to wear all day long (who likes wearing jeans all day long?! not me!).

Now that winter is almost over (dreaming), I have been a busy bee trying to prepare a lot of new items for my Sparkle Studio shop! I cannot wait to show you all what’s in the works, and be sure to keep up to date with the shop for I will be adding new items regularly here on out!

I hope you all have an amazing Thursday!

For the Love of Olive

TOP: Project Social // DENIM: Articles of Society // SCARF: BP // ESPADRILLES: Tory Burch // HANDBAG: Street Level // WATCH: Marc Jacobs (similar) // SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban

I love me a good spring tee, so when I saw this Project Social t-shirt in Olive Green…my heart skipped a beat! It’s obviously still cold here in New England (crossing my fingers warmer temps are right around the corner!), so I decided to layer a neutral scarf over this top!

White denim and espadrilles are my go-to spring/summer casual pieces. Articles of Society creates great denim for an affordable price (only $54), so I’ve picked up a couple of pairs of white denim from this brand because obviously I can’t keep my white jeans white for more than a day! I purchased these Tory Burch Espadrilles last year, but they were such a favorite that they brought them back again this year! They are the perfect color combo to go with pretty much any outfit, and are so comfy too!

Pink & Spring

DRESS: Lush // HEELS: Hinge // HANDBAG: Angela Roi // SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban // RING: Sole Society

As I am writing this post, it is currently snowing outside, so to say I am currently jealous of the weather in these photos would be an understatement! I’m pretty sure Mother Nature loves playing tricks on New England the most- what other region goes from 70’s to snow in less than a week?!

In hopes that spring officially makes its way back, I am currently loving this Lush dress I picked up a few weeks back. The color and flow of the dress make for the perfect dress for any spring outing. I paired this dress with my favorite open toe Hinge heels- they have been on repeat since I purchased them. With the weather so back in forth lately, I also have been wearing them with jeans and a light sweater!

I hope you all have a great Monday, thank you for stopping by!

Weekend in Pink

Sweatshirt: Topshop // Jeans: Articles of Society // Espadrilles: Tory Burch // Handbag: Sole Society // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I’ve never been one for sweatpants or sweatshirts…call me uptight or over-dressed, but I always felt out of place in them. Even now- I always choose leggings and over-sized tops as my casual, stay at home outfits over sweatpants and sweatshirts. I just feel so much more me in them! When I saw this Topshop sweatshirt and felt how soft it was (and because it was pink!), I knew i had to have it!

Since I don’t like the whole sweatshirt/sweatpant combo, I opted to wear this sweatshirt with white jeans and espadrilles for a causal weekend look last week when I was running errands with my mom, and I think this might be my go-to look for lazy weekends at home! I bought these Tory Burch Espadrilles last year, and so glad to see that they are back to stock (and they run tts!).

Another staple I have added to my closet for spring/summer is this Sole Society Tassel Crossbody. Tassels are a huge trend right now, but this bag is also great because it’s the perfect size to take with you on weekend errands or while shopping. It also comes in black!

I hope you have a great weekend ahead! Any plans? My boyfriend’s family and I are taking a quick trip this weekend, and so excited to spend time with them and relax!
